Shipping & Returns Policy

The Dance Shop usually ships all in-stock orders on the next business day via one of the major postal carriers - USPS, UPS, or Fedex. If an item is not in-stock, an employee of The Dance Shop will contact you and provide you with an estimated time of arrival. 

Standard Shipping

Standard Shipping is done via USPS priority mail or UPS Ground. All orders are shipped from Fort Worth, Texas. Please refer to your tracking number for estimated delivery time. The Dance Shop is not responsible for carrier delays.

Expedited Shipping

3 Day Shipping will be shipped via USPS or UPS at their expedited rates. In rare instances, a carrier delay might slow the delivery of your package.

Free Shipping

All references to Free Shipping are based on standard shipping to the continental United States. Orders to the continental United States ship free if the order size is over $100.

Shipping Locations

The Dance Shop ships to the continental United States, Hawaii, Alaska, and the minor outlying islands.

Return Policy

Pointe shoes may be exchanged or returned for store credit within 7 days. All other shoes can be exchanged or returned for store credit within 14 days of the shipping date. Returns and exchanges of all other eligible merchandise must be made within 14 days of the shipping date. There are no exceptions to this policy. 

Return Conditions

Returns must be accompanied by the original invoice enclosed with your order. Merchandise must be in new condition, unworn, all tags attached, in original packaging and suitable for resale.

Any returns not meeting these guidelines will be returned to the customer. The Dance Shop reserves the right to decline any return that does not meet the above specifications.

Return Shipping

The customer is responsible for return shipping.

Items not Eligible for Return

Tights, undergarments, and dance belts are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange under any condition.

Shoes must be returned in a sturdy carton to protect the original manufacturer's box and product. Shoes must show NO sign of wear on the sole of the shoes or on the inside of the shoes. Please try on shoes with tights or socks on a carpet or a clean surface that will protect the soles of the shoes.

No returns will be accepted on shoes that are showing any stress, wear or that are soiled on the inside of the shoes and/or the outside of the shoes, especially the toe box (on pointe shoes). No returns will be accepted on shoes that show evidence of ribbon or elastic attachment. Shoes that have been altered in anyway such as breaking or cutting the shank are not considered defective and will not be accepted for return.
